"It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's about the size of the fight in the dog."
Manchester City; the best team in the premier league, sure does have heart. Last year on December 10th, Manchester City rose above the powerhouse Bayern Munich by coming back from a 2-0 deficit, and scoring three goals to win the match.
I fixated on City when I first started watching soccer, mostly because of the fact that my favorite player at the time Sergio Kün Aguero was on the club. When City faced Bayern last year from the first 5 minutes it looked like it was going to be a blow out. Thomas Müller for Bayern Munich scored in the 5th minutes assisted by a beautiful pass from the Brazilian center back Dante. In the 10th minute Mario Gotzë scored off a corner kick. Things are not going well for City until David Silva opens the scoring for Manchester in the 28th minute with a sitter in front of an open net. Again City scores in the 59th minute from a penalty kick won by James Milner. Finally in the 62 Minute James Milner scores and wins the game for Manchester City.
Coming back from such a big margin in soccer, is an amazing thing to do. More so against Bayern Munich. Hopefully tomorrow City can repeat history and in Munich, defeat the German Kings, FC Bayern.
