Have you ever had something that seemed so secure slip away from you? That's what happened to me at the 2014 Fessenden New England Junior Prep Wrestling Tournament. It didn't matter that I was up four points in the last period. I had to focus on the present instead of dreaming of that 3rd place medal I would receive after the match. I let the win slip away because I did not have the willpower to keep fighting with three seconds left. Even with my coaches, Fitz and Gasper supporting me along with the rest of my teammates, I let go. I was in on the opponent's legs up by one point, and with three seconds left he got behind. I let go of his legs with three seconds left. That is why I returned home from the tournament with a fourth place medal. Now whenever I remember this match I regret so many things. I know if I practice hard everyday in this upcoming season, I will be victorious. It all comes from hard work leading up to the 2015 Fessenden New England Junior Preps Wrestling Tournament. Ever since I let go of my opponents legs, it seems that I can't let go of the match.
